I’m in a glass cage of emotion! Last night on Conan, Ron Burgundy came out of retirement to play a little jazz flute and make a special announcement. Paramount Pictures has apparently been in talks with Will Ferrell and the rest of the cast of the 2010 classic comedy, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
“As of 0900 Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman. It is official! There will be a sequel to Anchorman. There will be a sequel.”
Ron Burgundy was too busy serenading the crowd with jazz flute to give more details, but according to Entertainment Weekly, most of the original cast, including Paul Rudd and Steve Carell, are on board for an Anchorman sequel. So dust off your polyester suit and Sex Panther cologne. Today we spell redemption: R.O.N.
