It’s a sad world we live when people throw away timeless tradition under the guise of “fairness.” Augusta National Golf Club recently became the next stepping stone towards a society free from freedom by backing down to the pressure of a few relentless nags who needlessly search for the next “victim” to exploit, regardless of an actual victim being represented.

Augusta National Golf Club has officially admitted its first female members – Condoleeza Rica and Darla Moore. The golf club continues to defend its membership policies, even after the admittance of the two women, stating that they are indeed a private organization, which makes one wonder why they broke their own policies.

Where does the slippery slope of political correctness and forced “fairness” over common sense end? Am I to assume that since Augusta National Golf Club was forced to allow female members, I should therefore be able to protest an all-black university for not allowing my enrollment or sue the “Lifetime: Television for Women” network for prejudice against men?

When it comes down to it, Augusta National is a private club and has the right to pick and choose their members without outside influence…or so I thought.
