Ashton Kutcher stars as Steve Jobs in the new biopic covering the story of start-up of Apple Computers Inc. Set to be released in theaters August 16th 2013, it’s easy to assume that this will be quite a successful movie. In today’s tech obsessed world, a story covering the life of one of the greatest innovators ever is destined for greatness.

The story of Steve Jobs’ ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century. From his hippie youth and co-founding of Apple in his parents’ Silicon Valley garage to his ouster from the company, triumphant return 11 years later and remarkable successes in the past decade with the iPod, iPhone and iPad.

Starring: Ashton Kutcher, Josh Gad, J.K. Simmons and more.

Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in Movie 'Jobs' 2013

The movie has been on my radar since the pictures of Kutcher as Steve Jobs first surfaced some time ago. From what I can see from the trailer, the film looks as if it could be a prequel to The Social Network. Not saying that in a bad way either, tech nerds, entrepreneurs and Apple lovers from all over will be flocking to theaters to see this film. In the wake of Steve Jobs’ death, his biography skyrocketed across all of the best selling lists. This movie as an extension will most likely do the same.
