If you missed the Transit of Venus, don’t worry. You can always catch the next ones as it appears again in 2117 and 2125. Keith Richards aka “The Highlander” may witness those upcoming Venus Transits, but the rest of us are screwed. This rare phenomenon occurs when the planet Venus travels directly between the Sun and Earth, leaving a visible silhouette against the glow of the Sun. The Venus Transit lasted 6 hours and 40 minutes and if you live in an unpredictable weather area such as Pittsburgh, you probably missed it due to clowd cover (as I did).
