More and more businesses are outsourcing to other countries to avoid high taxes and obtain cheap labor. America clothing designer, Ralph Lauren, has been manufacturing his products in China for years, but has recently made national news as he will design the uniforms for the US Team in the 2012 London Olympics.

Public outcry has made Ralph Lauren back-peddle a bit, releasing a statement that the company will work harder to bring manufacturing back to the United States. Ralph Lauren has a contact with the US Olympic Team through 2020, but stated the uniform change could not be made until the 2014 Winter Games held in Socci, Russia. Too little, too late in my opinion. Besides, the uniforms make us look like a bunch of French frat boys.
