Ernest Hemmingway said, “Always do sober what you said you’d do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.” If only that quote were applied to politics, we might not be in the shape we are in with the majority of Americans not knowing dick about what’s going on in the world, but still spewing their regurgitated rhetoric. So, can your preferred alcoholic beverage determine where you sit politically? Doubtful. But this chart from The Washington Post appears to be spot on, at least for my friends and I.
